Many people struggle to live healthier. You are not alone! It can be difficult to manage the stress of daily living, let alone preparing and eating healthy meals, getting enough hours of sleep every night, and remaining physically active.

As someone who has struggled with these things myself, I know how difficult it can be. However, with my training in Health Psychology, Therapy, and Nutrition, I have been able to overcome these struggles. With my help, so can you!

Q. What services do I provide?

A. As a Health and Wellbeing Coach, my job is to help you shake off unhealthy habits, and to help you sustainably engage in healthy thinking and behaviours. With you as my client, together we would assess your needs, and use a variety of techniques to make changes in your life. While I employ universal methods to help train you, my approach is very individualistic, collaborative, and client-centred in nature. You are the focus.

Using my background in Psychology, the main aim of a session is to help you break down your own psychology. By helping you process your thoughts, feelings, attitudes, and desires, you will be able to get a clearer idea of what you need to do, and how you need to do it.

Q. What would the coaching look like?

A. My coaching services are completely online-based. That way I can help you no matter where you are, and to make the coaching as convenient as possible. Therefore booked sessions will typically happen over a video-call, with follow-ups via email.

Much like registering at a new GP surgery, or reaching out to a counselling service, each client goes through an initial assessment process. This helps me to understand what you are looking for, what you require from me, and what your expectations are once the sessions are over.

From then on I will guide you through exercises and therapeutic practices, that will train you to implement changes in your life. My goal is to help you to help yourself. I do not want you to be dependent on my services in the long-term, instead moving on so that you can carry on the work we have started together.

Q. Who am I looking for in a client?

A. If you feel you meet any of the following criteria, please get in touch:

  • I struggle to reach and maintain my health goals
  • I have been advised by a medical professional to make changes in my lifestyle
  • I don’t have any support at home in improving my health and wellbeing
  • I have tried other public health services, and they haven’t worked for me
  • I want to change, but feel like I don’t have the time or energy to do so
  • I am tired of failing, and need help breaking my unhealthy cycles

As my client, I do not discriminate based on your beliefs, or who you are as an individual. I respect people of all faiths and religious backgrounds, and would do my best to tailor plans around your beliefs (i.e. not eating certain meats on religious grounds). I also work with clients with diet restrictions, including those who are vegetarian or vegan. If you are differently abled, I can base tasks that are accessible, and do not restrict clients based on physical limitations. I am an LGBT+ friendly coach, and respect those who identify within or outside of the gender binary.

I do not take on clients who are under the age of 18. For teenagers and young adults looking for help, I would recommend talking to your GP, or checking out local community centres for guidance.

Q. How much would it cost?

A. The initial consultation and assessment process is free for anyone looking to become one of my clients.

You pay for the number of sessions you want. You can decide to pay for a batch of sessions, or work on a monthly rolling subscription. For specific programmes you can either pay for all sessions in advance, or pay over several months. After a plan has been agreed, you will be directed to a page where you can make a one-time payment via PayPal, or complete a subscription payment plan.

PLEASE NOTE:
Sessions will not be booked and finalised until payment has been received.

Should you feel that you would like more support after our initial booking(s), further sessions can be booked at the same rates as previously. You would then be asked to pay for however many further sessions you have requested for, using the same payment system.

The costs for my coaching are based on the length of the specific programme, and/or the services that I provide in and outside of our sessions. For example, some courses require more work behind the scenes, producing tailored materials for you and you alone.

Q. What happens if I need to reschedule/cancel my session?

A. Sometimes schedules need to be rearranged, which is totally understandable! You can rebook your session to a later date, providing you give prior notice.**

If you wish to cancel your session(s), and receive a refund for any booking unfulfilled, you can do so. You may have to provide bank details of the account you wish to receive your refund. You must also give prior notice of this.**

**You must give at least 2 working days notice of any schedule change or cancellation (i.e. A session booked for Monday must be cancelled or rescheduled the previous Thursday). If you wish to cancel and rebook a session, but do not give prior notice, I hold the right to keep any payment associated with that session. I hold the right to cancel or reschedule any session booked, without notice, should I feel the need to do so. Refunds will not be given for past sessions had between us, nor for sessions that have been missed by the client.
